We do not sell personal data, embed social network widgets or directly share reader reports with advertisers.

Site search runs entirely in your browser: what you type into the search field is never sent to a server.

The data controller is Quanto Costa Davvero, reachable at info@quantocostadavvero.it. The operational seat is in Milan, Italy.

You can use the same email address for any privacy request: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent.

If you submit the "What did you actually pay?" form, we process what you entered: amount, currency, place, date, optional provider, optional comment, optional evidence link and, if you provide it, your email address.

The email is optional, is used only to reply to you, is never published and is not used for anything else. The rest of the report may be published in aggregate, anonymous form. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form; you can withdraw it by writing to us.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate statistics and technical performance measurements. We also use Google Analytics only after your consent through the cookie banner.

If you reject, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. The choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not have to ask again on every visit. You can withdraw or change your choice by deleting the preference stored in your browser for this site.

Google AdSense may display ads on the site and loads its advertising script in the head of pages so Google can verify the site and serve ads. Google may use cookies, identifiers and technical browser data to serve and measure advertising under its notices and settings.

We do not choose ads person by person and Google does not give us the identity of site visitors. Advertising is separate from editorial work: it does not change prices, sources, comparisons or reviews.

Technical data may be processed by providers that help us deliver, protect and measure the site, including hosting, security, analytics and infrastructure services. These providers process data according to their respective roles, contracts and notices.

Where a third-party tool involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place under the safeguards required by applicable law, where required.

Our hosting provider records the technical data needed to serve pages and defend against abuse, including IP address and user agent, for a limited period. We also use the IP address to rate-limit the report form, in memory and without retaining it.

We do not combine this data with other information and do not use it to profile visitors.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist research, drafting, consistency checks and detection of possible errors. Publication remains a human editorial decision.

We do not use personal data submitted by readers to train proprietary models, and we do not publish automatically generated content without review.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of data concerning you, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority.
