How Much It Really Costs

Weddings

A wedding is the extreme case of quote versus final bill: almost every item is priced per head, and the guest count multiplies everything. Our guides work per guest rather than per event.

How much does a wedding in Italy cost?

A wedding does not have a price, it has a multiplier. Almost every major item is quoted per head, and the guest list decides the budget far more than the quality of the suppliers does.

€25,970 / wedding
€9,000 – €55,000

Frequently asked questions

Why publish such a wide range instead of a single figure?

Because a wedding's cost is almost entirely proportional to the guest count, and the couple decides that count. Catering, the largest item, is quoted per head; table flowers and favours scale with the number of tables. A national average lumps together weddings of fifty and of two hundred guests and returns a number that matches neither. The figure to use is the cost per guest — EUR 238 in the 2026 edition of the industry report — multiplied by your own list.
