This is the figure worth looking at before choosing, because a streaming subscription rarely lasts a single month: the gap between the two Standard plans, which looks like seven euros a month, is worth EUR 84 over a year.

The difference is therefore not the entry price, but features and context: Apple leans on lossless audio, Spatial Audio and integration with Apple devices, while Spotify has a Duo plan and a very strong playlists and podcasts ecosystem.
Apple Music in ItalyThe ordinary price is EUR 9.99 a month after a 7-day free trial for new subscriptions. Apple also offers free periods tied to eligible device purchases, but those are promotions with conditions and limited duration. To compare Apple TV with other streaming services, the correct figure is the standing monthly fee.
